Provide expertise on information security topics and understanding of Information Security delivery methodologies

Provide insight and recommendations on all security related matters using CIS, ISO 2700 & NIST 800-53 framework standards.

Deliver current knowledge on security trends and events to assist our customer with decision making and response

Build relationships with customers for the projects you are working

Track the status of projects, high profile requests, incident trends, system lifecycles, vulnerability patches & upgrade deployments.

Work closely with internal teams to ensure policies and procedures are followed

Help coach customers on information security disciplines

BS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or currently enrolled in a Degree Program expecting to graduate within 12 months or equivalent work experience

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified Systems Information Auditor (CISA) is preferred

Minimum 8 years in IT related field

Minimum 4 years of experience as a Security Engineer

Expertise with Unix, Linux & Windows operating systems is required

Experience using network analysis tools to identify vulnerabilities (Nexpose or similar tool)

Experience working with security tools (SIEM, IPS, HIDS, VPN, IAM, VA Scanners)

Experience with design and operations of security on large networks, including multiple datacenters

Working knowledge of TCP/IP, networking design, and routing architectures

Experience in methods to provide privacy, integrity, and non-refusal to network connections

Experience with network security systems and protocols including Firewalls, HTTP, FTP, SSH, etc
