THE POSITION

Copia is looking for a people-pleaser with a passion for our mission; someone who loves to get her or his hands dirty (sometimes literally!). This is a professional, customer facing role. Bring your passion for providing an excellent customer experience. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, flexible, upbeat, and fast-paced to effectively manage customer demands. This is a great opportunity to gain experience with project management and account management. Opportunity to transition from intern to full-hire dependent on performance.

ABOUT YOU

Superior personal and interpersonal attributes (e.g. results-oriented and a performance-oriented work style, creativity, entrepreneurial qualities, personal maturity)

Experience in customer service; high energy with excellent interpersonal and skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Self-motivated and innovative - you thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a hunger for improvement

Skilled at planning, organizing, and executing simultaneous projects and activities. You can prioritize high impact activities and keep complicated projects moving forward

Hyper-reliable (you loathe letting people down)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

Managing day-to-day nationwide operations and customer service

Commit to regular food runs for critical customers and supplementary pickups as needed

Work directly with operations and sales leadership to ensure the best experience for our community and customers

Implement and improve customer success and retention efforts through continuous and outstanding high-touch customer interactions

Be Copia’s eyes and ears; solicit user feedback in person and email

Communicate and create processes for reporting backfield knowledge

Assist with in-person customer and nonprofit onboarding

Conduct in-person technical support sessions with users (nonprofits and food donors/customers)

Own customer relationships; provide a

human connection that might otherwise be lost among apps/technology

Qualifications:

Customer service experience

Operations or food recovery experience, a plus

Strong undergraduate academic record

Track record of setting goals, creating a plan, and executing

High energy with an outgoing, social personality

Clean driving record and valid driver’s license

Ideally, you will have your own vehicle

Passion and understanding of the sharing economy
