To help deliver the value of ArangoDB to potential customers, our team is looking for a talented, motivated Sales Executive to join us. You will be leading all steps in the sales process for the commercial versions of ArangoDB to our Enterprise clients in the American East. You will also focus on helping us grow fast by securing key accounts at a global level.
All candidates in on the East Coast (e.g. Chicago, Boston, New York, Atlanta) will be considered. This is a work from home role with travel to client locations in the Eastern part of the United States.
About the Role:
- You establish new accounts along the East Coast and uncover opportunities at existing ones
- You deliver presentations and high-level demonstration to potential customers to highlight the value of ArangoDB for their use cases
- You work closely with Technical PreSales, Marketing and Customer Success to help prospects oncover the benefits of ArangoDB to drive the adoption rate
- You travel to customer sites as appropriate
- You maintain the sales pipeline, log your daily activities in Salesforce and track interactions with prospects and customers
- Opportunity management, forecasts and networking activities for the EMEA territory are also on your desk
- You are a self-motivated, independent individual, with the ability to learn and become productive extremely fast plus a record of overachievement
- 5+ years of software sales experience in a deep tech field like databases, - cloud and/or open-source software
- Success at enterprise software sales selling IT/ infrastructure and managing key strategic relationships
- You have experience successfully selling into technical user base & VP-level
Superb relationship building skills and the ability to understand and show the value of our product ArangoDB to clients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to be an outstanding team player.
