- Demonstrate creativity in problem-solving, ability to think out-of-box, and adapt quickly to new technical areas

- Able to quickly spin up PCB models and schematics (Benchmark: a couple of hours for a sensor board)

- Analyze the trade-offs between performance, manufacturability, and cost

- Communicate and demonstrate prototypes to cross-functional teams

- Work with PCB components and vendors to solve electrical & system integration related issues

- Design/test/prototype RF/Wireless hardware designs and associated firmware


- System integration experience of embedded systems with electronics, firmware, and software

- Mixed-signal EE design experience at PCB level

- Select EE components, guide schematic & PCB layout teams, and analyze prototype performance

- Signal timing diagrams and power on/off sequencing

- Power converter circuit design and analysis

- Experience with simulation tools such as Matlab

- Hands-on lab experience in data analysis and debugging

- Familiarity with software code review and modification

- Familiarity with design for manufacturing (DFM)

Nice to have

- Experience with electromagnetism in dynamic systems

- Experience with position tracking and/or AR/VR related technology

- Experience with motors, magnets, and various MEMS
